How To Reset + Refresh For The New Year

1. Declutter everything

Get rid of unnecessary baggage by unsubscribing from all uninspiring profiles on your social medias.

Do you have any commitments, bad habits or even maybe relationshipsย that are causing you stress? Think of at least 3 aspects of your life that you could let go of to create more contentment in your life.

Reduce decision fatigue by giving yourself less choices and living a simpler life. Utilize that brain power for better things!

If you want to start the year on a healthier note, slowly start getting rid of the junk food in your pantry and fridge so you can replace itย with healthier options in the new year!

2. Reflect on the past year

Did you give yourself credit for everything you accomplished? Did you doubt yourself one too many times? Reflect on how you can treat yourself like you would a dear friend, and strive to be kind to yourselfย more often.

Do you feel you were on top of all your projects and tasks or were you always playing catch up? Do you need to try another productivity method?

If youโ€™ve been stressing out and wondering how youโ€™ll ever manage to getย everything done on your to-do list, itโ€™s important to encourage yourself to calm down and take a deep breath.ย

Have you expressed your gratitudeย to others? Share how you feel by making a phone call, text or sending a gift to someone to tell them how grateful you are to have them in your life.

3. Refresh + Prepare

Refine your routine and make it even easier for you.

How can you make your days just a little bit easier? Do you need toย find a balance between spontaneity and scheduled events? Or perhaps you need more motivation to get out of bed in the morning. Think about what you could start delegating to other people in order to lighten your load!

Set three monthly goals.

Instead of just New Yearโ€™s resolutions that can sometimes have a negative connotation, try setting three goals at the beginning of each month. In doing this, you will get a better sense of what your priorities are!
